Pay attention to sensations such as the rise and fall of your chest, the coolness of the air entering your nose, or the warmth as you exhale. Again, if you are not a visual person, focus on the physical sensation of washing your hands or a cool breeze against your skin, or just speak aloud, “I am cleansed and renewed.” This Water washes away any lingering energy that doesn’t belong to you, leaving you feeling clear and refreshed.
4. Create a Protective Layer
Visualize a radiant white light from within you, growing and radiating outward, surrounding you. For nonvisual approaches, place your hands over your heart and feel warmth or pressure there, or declare with intention, “I am safe and protected within my energy field.” As this energy settles, it forms a protective layer—like shimmering opal or crystalline salt—that allows love and light in but keeps harmful or draining energy out.
Close this practice with an intention, such as: "I am safe, protected, and aligned with my highest good."
For convenience, beginners can choose to associate the combination of these rituals with a command word such as “activate” so that when you recall this word, it reaffirms your energetic protections. To do this, after completing the rituals, silently or aloud declare your chosen word, connecting it to the feeling of protection and balance you’ve created. Each time you mentally or verbally recall this word, know these protections are being reinforced.
